How to use it
Enter your current attendance percentage and how many classes you've had so far, then the percentage you need to reach. The calculator works out how many classes in a row you must attend.
Formula
Classes to attend = (target% × total − attended) ÷ (100% − target%)Examples
Example: You've attended 27 of 40 classes (67.5%) and need 75%. Classes to attend = (0.75×40 − 27) ÷ 0.25 = (30 − 27) ÷ 0.25 = 12 classes.
Frequently asked questions
How do I recover my attendance?
Attend every class until your percentage climbs back above the required threshold — the calculator shows exactly how many that takes.
Can I still pass with low attendance?
Depends on your school's policy. Many institutions set a minimum (often 75–80%) below which you may not be allowed to sit exams.
Does the recovery count include future absences?
No — the result assumes you attend every class from now on.
