Enter the total number of classes in the term and your required attendance percentage. The calculator tells you the maximum classes you can miss.
Formula
Missable = Total classes × (1 − Required % ÷ 100)Examples
Example: 40 classes, 75% required. Missable = 40 × 0.25 = 10 classes.
Example: 30 classes, 80% required. Missable = 30 × 0.20 = 6 classes.
Frequently asked questions
How is this calculated?
It's the number of absences that keeps you exactly at (or above) the required attendance rate.
Does it round up or down?
It floors to the nearest whole class to keep you safely at or above the requirement.
What if I've already missed too many?
Attend every remaining class to maximize your percentage — or check if excused absences don't count.
