How to use it
Enter your total available study hours, then add subjects with a difficulty rating (1–5). Hours are allocated proportionally — harder subjects get more time.
Formula
Subject hours = Total hours × Difficulty ÷ Σ(all difficulties)Examples
Example: 20 hours across Math (5) and History (3). Math gets 20 × 5 ÷ 8 = 12.5 hr; History gets 7.5 hr.
Example: 10 hours across three subjects rated 2, 3, and 5. Split: 2 hr, 3 hr, 5 hr.
Frequently asked questions
How should I rate difficulty?
Use your own judgment: 1 = easy/familiar, 5 = very challenging or new material.
Should harder subjects always get more time?
Generally yes, but also weigh how much each subject counts toward your grade.
