Enter each course's grade and credit hours. The calculator multiplies grade points by credits to get quality points, sums them, and divides by total credit hours — the standard college method.

GPA = total quality points ÷ total credit hours, where quality points = grade points × credit hoursExamples
Example: An A (4.0) in a 3-credit course and a B (3.0) in a 4-credit course. Quality points = 12 + 12 = 24 over 7 credit hours. GPA = 24 ÷ 7 = 3.43.
Example: Same grades but both in 2-credit courses: 16 quality points over 4 hours. GPA = 4.0 — the A course counts the same as the B because both are 2 credits.
